Link Your Pc To Your TV

With linking pc to your tv you will enjoy a new amazing experience in gaming , watching video or even video production or picture editing with your LCD , LED or Plasma TV .

You can link your pc to your TV by connecting slot " TV OUT " which is located in your graphic Card with your TV using a special cable .

This cable is usually attached to the graphics card or you can buy it 

 But is all graphic cards has a " TV OUT " slot ? 

 Connecting the cables : 

All Nvidia and ATI graphic cards has a " TV OUT " slot but to ensure the existence of this slot , check all the exits which are located in the graphic card's back . There is two types of this slot : 

1 - Composite ( yellow slot ) : this slot is rounded and it has usually a yellow color and sometimes we find slots with a black color 

  

for this slot we use Composite Cable , usually the heads of this cable are also yellow

Then , we connect one of this two heads in the graphic card and the other in the tv video slot

Usually the TV video slot has also a yellow color .

2 - S-video ( black slot ) : it is also called " Super Video " , this slot is rounded with a black color and it has many small holes .

But some graphic cards and laptops this slot is yellow .

We use S-video cable to connect the computer to the TV , usually the heads of this cable are usually black .

The TV shall has a  S-video slot  to connect this cable to your TV

Some TVs don't have S-video slot so we use this cable to connect Pc s-video slot and the TV yellow video slot .

Now we will learn how to link the sound to your TV :

you connect the left black head to sound slot in your sound card of your pc and you put the black and red heads in the white and red slots in your TV .

After doing all this work , it is better to reboot the computer 

Adjusting settings : 

Open " ATI CATALYST CONTROL CENTER " which is usually located next to your pc clock 

Choose " display Option " ( 1 ) then " click on Force TV detection " ( 2 ) and click on " Apply " ( 3 ) 

1 -  Choose " Displays Manager " ( 1 ) 

2 - Grab The TV icon ( 2 )  to the empty square ( 3 )  next to the monitor icon

3 - A new List will show up , you choose " Clone Main with T "

Then , a new message will show up and you click on " YES " and as you can see in this picture : The TV and the PC are linked together Now .

1 - Choose " TV Properties 3 " ( 1) 

2 - Click on " Formats " ( 2 )

3 - Tick  " Select by signal format " ( 3 )

4 -  Choose " the system color " according to your country ( 4 ) 

 PS : there are many other settings in " TV Properties 3 " like controlling the colors and the size ....

Finally , Click On Ok and you have finished all what you need to do to link your pc to your TV .
